Youngsik Yoon

Hello! I’m Youngsik Yoon, a Ph.D. student in the POSTECH Machine Learning Lab, advised by Professor Jungseul Ok. I received my B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering & Mathematics from POSTECH. Previously, I was a research intern at Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA), mentored by Wei Chen and Siwei Wang.
My research focuses on efficient exploration strategies in reinforcement learning. I am interested in applying these ideas across diverse domains, including deep RL, robotics, LLMs, model architectures, and broadly in machine learning systems.
